Experience Grandeur at Secdea Beach Resort

It’s been almost a year since my last visit to Samal Island and glad to have come back and get to stay in Secdea Beach Resort. What was originally a day tour plan ended up a worthwhile overnight stay.

Secdea Beach Resort is located in San Isidro, Babak area, and is one of the luxury resorts in Samal Island. The beach resort offers not just a grand beach atmosphere, but also makes you close to and appreciate nature. The spacious 56-hectare land comprises of white sand beach, two infinity pools, a fine dining restaurant, fishing area, a Mangrove Walk, several buildings for different types of accommodations, walking / hiking trails and many more.

If you want to have an overlooking view of the resort and witness its grandeur from atop, you can take their famous “124 steps” stairway.

My favorite part of Secdea Beach Resort is their Mangrove Walk. It is an area where guests can take a walk through a Mangrove forest. Aside from a pathway, there are also benches where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet under the trees. When the tide is high, you can watch fishes swim by and other sea creatures around the area.
